We hear a lot about self-compassion, but what actually does it mean to have self-compassion?
Think of what it would be like to sit with your closest and dearest friend, one you have known almost your whole lives, one you've been though the highs and lows with. You know their heart, their intentions, what they've been through, their strengths, and their quirks; and you love this friend for all of it. If this dear friend were in deep pain and cried on your shoulder, what would you to say?
